This is a repository of useful information for guides at Gloucester Cathedral.
It is culled from books, the guide training notes and from many photographs. Also included is the content of the old 'Serlo' site.

- The History section covers both the history of the cathedral and of associated monarchs together with a timeline to bring the two together
- The Architecture section covers the main periods of architecture and is heavily illustrated with cathedral photographs
- Glass and monuments covers what it says on the tin!
- The Cathedral section brings these all together, area by area
- Practical guiding includes hints and tips on good guiding and will also contain guide training handouts while courses are running
- Guide Resources is mostly the reference content from the old 'Serlo' site
There is an excellent 23 min video in the 'Building Wonders' series which explores the development of the Cathedral using excellent video graphic examples. It is available here.
